    On some of my rifles they change POI - on some they don't. OP will just have to find out. It all depends on your development method.

    Budget rimfire scope?

    I just ordered two Tasco 4x scopes from Midway - about $60 for the pair. For the plinking and fun with my .22 these will do just fine.

    30-06 with 200 Partition 30-30 with 170 Partition 35 WCF with 250 Partition ....see the theme? The 300 WSM with the 200NP would be a great combo - even out to ranges farther than you think. Out of your choice, I suppose the Hammer, although I have no experience with them.

    Interesting, I guess. I don't pay much credence to what the military drives. Most of it is $$ driven anyway. The M14 debacle is the perfect example of that.

    Best low light rifle scope ?

    It's all math - specifically exit pupil. Scopes do not gather light they transmit it, losing it as it passes through lenses and then it hits whatever your exit pupil size is (~6mm or less depending on age) any extra is just...extra at that point. Based on that a 6x42 fixed is a great scope...

    Need a little help.

    It could be brass volume and primer 'hotness'. Just enough different to show in velocity. Sounds like a great load - nothing really wrong.

    Could be a lot of factors. Same brass, primer, etc? Could be just the barrel. Have you seen any pressure signs? If not, you could continue up - but why run at the ragged edge. If you accuracy is good, run with it.
