Keep e scouting. Dont give that up. Not seeing a bunch of elk and arrowing a big 6x6 in the first year (or couple years) is not outside of the norm especially as a NR from far away who doesnt get to boots on the ground scout.

Forest service had unit 35 all closed out right before archery season while i was there scouting around from the Wapiti fire. Anyone been around that area lately? From Lowman to Stanley?
