The Dakota hoody is my favorite waterfowling clothing item.
It is warm enough (maybe too warm at times), awesome at cutting wind. It is surprisingly water resistant as well.
The difference for me would be if someone was sitting on a rock taking photos of my family swimming for 15 minutes, that person and I would be having a conversation.
With a drone- that person is choosing to hide somewhere and photograph my family without physically having to interact with me...
They posted the specs when the frame came out. It does not surprise me at all that Kifaru has not changed the specs to match modifications. Just doesn't strike me as something they do.
I think what he is talking about is the cross piece at the top of the frame that connects/stabilizes the stays.
When the Lite frames came out- that piece was a carbon arrow.
They switched to using some type of hdpe squarish thingy.
The article says he was shed hunting- wonder if that somehow played into the encounter? Or was it just plain bad luck crossing paths?
This is just so horrible for that family, sounds like they have been through so much recently.
