    I'm increasingly leaning toward this coming from one of the ad providers used on this site. I had it happen again today, midway through reading a thread (as opposed to when the page first loads), suggesting it's coming from the dynamically loaded ads.

    Yes, most do have fixed IPD, and they can make it more difficult for others to look through as binoculars if they have an IPD that is substantially different from your own (there is some leeway). But.... like you said, they can look through a single side just like a traditional spotter.

    FWIW, my mini big eyes fit in my K4 side pocket or lid. I'm currently working on new lid for my K4 with a padded compartment for the big eyes, and a pocket for my snackies and other typical lid contents. I always ended up strapping the BTX to the outside of my pack.
