I've thought about this too. Lets say it does pass, is it worth $4,000ish when there are scopes from $200 to $1500 that also work? What features justify another $2,500? I'm still curious about this one though.
I mean he did mention the 3 brands he’d recommend to someone looking for a reliable hunting scope. A perfect way to let people know which ones don’t work… by leaving them out. I enjoyed the podcast.
Mines a 22” barrel, so far it shoots both the precision hunter and match well. She’s a touch over 10lbs and easy to shoot.

Most BHA members I know and know of are very new to hunting, BHA had good marketing in the beginning, a lot of talk about bha on rinella’s podcast years back, the same netflix show and podcast most adult on set hunters see first. They got the new “I wanna eat meat but hate commercial livestock...
I feel like I shoot better off a pack, seems like more of the rifle is in contact with the rest (pack) and with a rear bag its even better. Only down side is if its a high angle shot the pack can be the limiting factor for me.

Says they're Canadian design and Japanese built. Curious if anyone has had some insider experience with these. Specs look decent and a $1,200 price tag. Looks like something that could fit the discontinued Bushy Elite LRHS/LRTS.
could try a 300RUM aics mag, I originally got a 300win aics mag for my 7prc, had to switch to the 300RUM.

I had a lot of fun, since WA fish and game environmentalists (commissioners) banned our spring season before I ever drew a tag. I’ll plan on doing it again, something to keep me in shape, get some meat and save a few calves/fawns.
4 of us went down the last week of April. Hunted around 4000-4400ft elevation. I shot a young one and my dad got a decent boar. My first bear so I wasn’t being too picky. 6.5prc with the 153.5 Berger. My shot was 390yds, my dads was 110yds.
