    Bog death grip would be good for that situation. Heavy as sin but perfect if you aren’t carrying it far, they are super solid. I think the newer ones have the ability to convert to optics mounting plates.

    Zeiss scope rings- good quality?

    Zeiss rings are solid. No issues with them. the integrated bubble takes a minute to get dead nuts but once its set, they are not moving. No issues with marring the scope body either.
