Both are awesome pieces. The Kutana is a little less breathable on the move. It’s also lighter. The kutana is more versatile in my opinion.

Skyguide 7900 with X Curve frame plus three swing out pockets, rain cover, and hydro holster. Has small belt. I see no tears rips or snags. I do not see any blood stains but I do use this hunting backpack to hunt with and I do kill animals and I do put them in my bags. I have over $800 in the...
In the world I grew up in your word was as good as any contract. Stating "I'll take it" in any context is your word. I guess the question is how good is your word? In my recent experience many can't claim their word is worth anything. Mine is a good as gold. If I don't follow through something...
A #4 steel barrel is as light as I would personally consider using and a 26" #4 weighs roughly 4lbs. A 26" Proof weighs roughly 3lbs and you can get lighter carbons from other manufacturers. The end result of two nearly identical rifles set up with these barrels is the same accuracy wise. Even...
I think the Axis is very similar to the DCS as far as noise. I think the Jetstream is a little less noisy and I think the Kutana is the most quiet softshell I have worn.
To add insult to injury the ones that came out with the pitch forks won’t learn, won’t apologize, or admit they maybe should have waited before making a hasty emotional judgement. I stand by my first statement in this thread. I’ve come to expect this behavior from liberals but I just didn’t want...

It is good we have options. I did not say the DCS was more wind resistant. I said I would say it was more comparable than the other two in wind resistance. Having said that I do not feel the difference is near as bad as you state. I am going to have to agree with Ryan though on this topic. My...
This is why it’s great that we have all the options we do. I don’t include softshells in my backcountry system ever.

I think we will have to agree to disagree on any softshell being warm for the weight. Warm for the weight is down or synthetic down. I rarely wear softshells while hunting anymore.
I would agree the jetstream is better in the wind but if wind is your main concern in a softshell I feel like the...
