I have a brand new gasser F-250 4x4 for work. The thing sucks...
it’s gutless going up hills and gets terrible mileage.
My personal diesel is mucho better.
Slik is pretty much the only “lower priced” tripod that isn’t made in China if that is important to you. Like the others have said, $200 isn’t enough. I personally would wait and spend more later. I had a spotter for years that was basically worthless, a large part was because of the cheap and...
What’s the downside of Puerto Rico? That is America right?
My wife bought me a full First Light set of rain gear that was made in China (I returned it all), does Chinese made First Light contribute more to the US economy than Forlough?
Which light was it?
I have over a dozen of their products and every one has been made in USA. It’s the main reason I patronize the company other than their industrial headlamps are the best for my work.
My preference is that each person has there own tent. Snoring buddies or lack of sleep from a tossing restless sleeper is just not worth dealing with imo.
Not yet, but I may pull the trigger on their soft shell jacket.
My wife and I are all decked out in Gulch Gear, we are trying to buy American as much as possible.
I just found this clothing brand on All American Clothing’s website. The softshell jacket looks pretty interesting. I don’t have any experience with this brand yet but may give them a try pretty soon. I have no affiliation and didn’t know they existed until a few minutes ago. I’m always...
The big negative that directly affected me was the creation of the Castle Mountains National Monument in my state of California. The Monument was regular BLM land and had quite a bit of designated ”wilderness” already. In a nod to radical anti hunting groups, President Obama made the monument...
I haven’t seen this brought up on Rokslide yet, President Biden’s pic for Secretary, Department of the Interior. As everyone knows, this pic is very important to hunters and fishermen as the Department controls the majority of public land and vast hunting areas in the United States.
Today’s...
I’ve had a few cheap tripods over the years that were worthless. I’ve given them away, thrown away and donated, all wasted money. My RRS I’m sure will be passed down to a grandkid. That thing is an investment LOL
I have the 30 Nosler Ridgeline. I love the rifle, light and extremely accurate. The low recoil makes it a dream to shoot. I bought a bunch of factory 210 ALBLR ammo from Nosler on sale when I purchased the rifle. With reloading, I will never need to buy ammo for this rifle ever. I would not...
I agree 100%
The few of us stuck in California can all use your help from the “free states”. Please take the time to add a public comment against this outrage.
I put a VX5-HD in 3-15x44 on my Ridgeline in 30 Nosler. The bulk of the scope is manufactured in USA and the glass is excellent. I’ve been dialing and it’s right on the money so far. You should be able to pick up a VX5-HD below your budget. With the 15x magnification it comes in under 20 oz...
Taxes are the devil. If you are only going to be paying taxes on the $50K gains, I say go for it. If you put the $210K in tax deferred accounts I say don’t take the money.
We sort of have that already with “landowner” tags in many states. The true model of this is the way a lot of African countries do it. The landowner essentially owns and manages the game. A hunter would essentially “purchase” the animal they harvest. The term is “trophy fee” paid to your PH
Reading the text of this bill, I see some good points 👍
All the incorrect pronouns are being changed in the Fish & Game Code. This of course is a huge issue here in Kali, I’m so happy this injustice is finally being corrected.
