    Your BHA Dollars at Work?

The “antis” do seem to be reproducing at a much faster rate than the “neutral/pro hunting” crowd. After all, there is no need to hunt animals anymore. Delicious meat is readily available at restaurants and grocery stores, where no animals need to be harmed.

How are people affording these crazy home prices?

My wife and I downsized houses this year, 2021. We sold our paid off house and bought a cheaper house out further in the sticks. We decided to use my VA benefit and financed the new house with a 2.5% interest rate. I purchased my first house in 1993. I financed that house at a little over...

Primer storage - to enclose or not enclose

The old timers kept their primers in cardboard boxes. I’ve never heard of a fire or explosion triggered by improper primer storage.

    Your BHA Dollars at Work?

I’ve bashed BHA plenty, but I can’t find any fault in this scholarship program. They’ve essentially found two kids that are likely going to end up being government bureaucrats and positively introduced them to the hunting community. I support this particular action by BHA. All you guys...

    Swaro NL pure stud

RRS makes a really cool ARCA adapter that clamps on to your binos for $40. I bought the wife a new pair of ELs from Outdoorsmans and declined their “free stud” offer. The Cinch is that good, we don’t mess with the studs or the adapters any more...

    Bring back made in USA..

In my family we do our best to buy made in USA. It’s difficult and sometimes expensive, but we make the effort as much as possible. I just installed a water softener, whole house water filter and reverse osmosis, all made in USA. Most of my hunting purchases are made in USA as well. It takes...

Unicorn pills for my 300 prc

I ended up with a 30 Nosler due to 10 boxes of Nosler Trophy Grade ammo falling in to my lap. When you start looking at the cost of premium ammo, those expensive rifles don’t seem so expensive anymore.

    Need a scope recommendation.

Leupold has a great mil/leo discount. MARK 5HD 3.6-18X44 would be a great scope on that modern precision rifle. A 2-12 VX6HD might also be what you want for the lower power.

Help me pick a tent color. No, really. I’m serious!

Most of my gear is earth tones. I have spent 20+ minutes wandering around looking for my camp before. My next tarp or tent will have some color to it so I can find it more quickly.
