Good luck, you might be better off looking at Boyds stocks. That's what I did, they make a nice walnut stock that you pick the options. Quality and quick turnaround.- T3X

T3X Stock Upgrade
No, I did not bed it. Be sure to use the correct torque(listed in the owners manual) for the action screws depending on plastic or metal bottom. I retained the stock plastic. -

Swapped out the synthetic stock today for a Boyds walnut, I'm pleased with the results. I haven't shot it yet to see if grouping changed at all. -

What's the deal with second hand Tikka rifles and parts pricing?
I hear ya, been keeping an eye out for a clean Forest take-off stock to upgrade my T3X Lite. Crazy prices, for not much more, I'll order one from Boyds exactly how I want it, with a better grade of walnut. -

From what I'm reading/searching, I'm leaning towards a Pachmayr. I have a Limbsaver on my 11-87 shotgun from years ago, does a nice job but does get a little gummy from sitting in the safe( sticking to the carpet floor), unless they've changed their formula lately. -

Looking to order a Boyds gun stock for my Tikka T3X 6.5cm. For those that have ordered through them, is the 'Boyds' recoil pad decent or should I upgrade to a Limbsaver or pachmayr? Their pad is 1/2" thick vs others at 1", so it would affect length of pull later on if I would change. Also, are... -
