I see a few people I don’t want to share a campfire with because they’d probably drop their trash and expect someone to pick it up. Just because you can do or not do something doesn’t make it right. Yall probably wouldn’t even tip him because you already paid for the hunt. I guess I was raised...
Generally the outfitter is responsible for field care of the game. If you are able I would surely assist the guide. Moose are a big animal and they are a lot of work to take care.
I do not use the tethers for the Binos. They get in my way anyway and I had the same problem. I've never had an issue with the Binos not using the tether. I do have a tether on the rangefinder in its pouch.
Update... I bought a cheap foam sleeping pad off of campfire and cut it in half to make 2 pads. It worked GREAT! Much better than the little Kuiu pads and much cheaper. It weighs almost nothing but gives you enough room to prop up against a rock for a backrest and it keeps your legs dry and off...
Update... Thanks for all of the info. I went with a Sea to Summit bag and some cheap amazon bags. They both worked for organizing and keeping my stuff dry and clean in the Teepee. The SS bag is definetly better and if you truly need it to be water proof.
What economical dry bag do you recommend? It will mainly be used to store and organize my clothes in the tepee in Alaska after I pull them out of my pack.
Try Arctic Wolf Taxidermy in Anchorage. He met us after hours to seal the skulls and we had him tan the hides. He is a tannery as well. He then shipped them straight to our rugger.
Anyone tried the wiggy waders for crossing streams? Looking for something liteweight and packable. Prefer some that will slip over my boots. A little worried about durability.
Thank you for all the replies. I have looked through all of the game regulations and I believe the info is correct. I should be able to use the locking tag for the calendar year as well as my hunting license as it is valid until December 31 as well. I keep telling my wife that this next hunt is...
Correct me if I'm wrong. I have a locking tag for a black bear that I did not use unfortunately. I can use it to tag a blacktail on a hunt this fall since it is of lesser value than the bear, can't I?
