    Fwiw.......I also had to rough up the smooth carbon on the pre production stock. Rustoleum texture rattle can......it feels like about 400 grit sandpaper or so. If I can keep it away from a particular individual, it should last a range session or two.😉 Randy

    Super quick.......just put one strap through the other and over the grip. Takes seconds and you can adjust them to whatever you like. After using both, I prefer the strap method and also use the straps for climbing and descending. Randy

    Yes, surprising how steady sitting and using trekking poles (old man mountain canes) are. Fwiw, I did have the wiser quick sticks when I first shot this way but quickly ditched them as I had way more flexibility in just using the poles with interlaced grip straps. Randy
