That 07 is a strong truck!! 07-08 were good years on those - overbuilt as Toyota had something to prove in the US truck market. 130k is about halfway to being "done" IMO. Thats actually one of the used trucks that's on my radar!!
It's more of a personal guideline for value of used cars for me. "Value" is also subjective. The standard I used above is also for an Excellent value vehicle. By that metric a new truck should last 500k 750k mile before a major repair right?? It falls apart on the higher priced vehicles...
I have a formula for reliability/value as well. Vehicle should last approximately10k miles for every thousand dollars in purchase price - with NO major repairs. Vehicles in this range are an excellent value. It helps with being able to gamble on a used vehicle.
I'm in the market too! My advice: Hang on a few more months if you can. Tax season is Car Dealer's Christmas with all those tax refunds getting put towards new cars. And this year the dealers are already starting to figure out that tax refunds aren't as big this year. Repo's are on the rise...
Old Town "Discovery" 169 is a great canoe that can be had used in great shape for around $500. Sometimes cheaper. They're a little on the heavy side but very durable and maneuverable in a lot of different water types: lakes, rivers etc.

Missed my first chance at a turkey this spring. Finally got in tight to 'em and called him in on a rope, only to be jammed up by a tree to my left where he came into range for a shot! He spooked at me adjusting and I got a shot at him on the run.... clean miss @ 30 yards... I suck!! lol
