You can't go wrong with a Yeti Hopper. Ours gets used very frequently year-round and has held up well. Yes, the price stings, but that's what pro deals are for.
I didn't read to in depth on the topic, but the question that I had is where does Colorado propose to obtain wolverines from? I believe wolverines have ESA protection in the lower 48. I guess Colorado could try to get some from Alaska.

Had not heard about this until our local Idaho news outlet reported.
My dad just sent me the article and I hopped on here to share, but saw Customweld's thread. Agree we need much more information. Agree that if true, this is a big deal.
Take your mud boots, it's pretty sloppy this time of year. The elk and deer are back, so be cautious driving at dusk, but there's no real concentration of them in Long Valley this time of year. Both big lakes have recently thawed, but I don't believe boat rentals are up and running. You might...
Appreciate the feedback. Sounds like I'm well covered with any of my boxes for Idaho rivers. And I hear you on the water park feel of the "wild" rivers in summer. I think the best to avoid it is the Selway, where I've got a spot on a trip in July, but looking pretty dicey this year. Tight lines.
Lucky enough to be invited on a Smith trip with good family friends in mid-June. I've never done an overnight float in Montana, but the regs seem pretty self-explanatory. We'll have plenty of kids on the trip, but I would like to make the most of the fishing. Anyone familiar with likely hatches...
Not a fan of the legislature imposing on an agency's prerogatives, but I will admit, I don't hate the result of this bill (requiring NRs to purchase a license to acquire Idaho resources). I have been asking IDFG to require a license for someone to use WMAs for a while now. But why on earth are...
If you're really looking for cost savings, just rub some borax into the raw hide, and drape over the rafters in the garage. Warning: your wife will not be a big fan of the garage at all
Like others have said, gifts that come from thought mean much more than something I could go buy. Years ago, my wife heard me casually mention that my old rattling horns were starting to get beat up and dull. The comment could not have any way been directed toward my wife, as I would never...
Since fish and game biologists removed the lymph nodes, and I showed them on a map where the buck died, I think they would have addressed any issues with how I handled the carcass... I was not in unit 14 or 15
CWD certainly takes some of the fun out of the equation. There's no doubt about that for me. CWD is spreading in Idaho, and the buck I killed this year is from a newer potential CWD area where IDFG has asked for samples. I don't have a problem providing data to my wildlife management agency, and...
That's hilarious. I know that group well. Didn't know they had a video about that trip, but I know a good chunk of that trip was well below zero. I don't know anyone who can put on more miles than some of the dudes in that video.
