My vote would be for anything in 30/06 you can get ammo anywhere in about any power level you need and can kill anything in North America

Multi-Caliber Rifles

If you like this setup check out HS Precision I have one and it is incredible mine is in .300 win and.375 Ruger and both shoot lights out and all fits in a small pelican case.

Reliable Riflescopes

I have a trijicon 3x9 accupoint and it is amazing on a 350 rem mag I also have quite a few Swarovski and you can never go wrong with them especially for light weight

mid to "long range" cartridge

My vote is 30/06 do anything you want to do and get ammo anywhere you would hunt and can get any bullet in a factory load.
