Tikka T3X spacers/increasing LOP
Finally got some time to throw together a quick CAD model and get it on the printer. Thickness is 1/4", and keys with the pockets/bosses on the factory recoil pad. Need to adjust the print file to fix the transition from the support material (small gap between spacer & stock) but overall pretty... -

Funny I just stumbled on this, I just picked up a Lite compact 308 and I need just a touch more LOP. I'm 5'5" so in all reality the compact fits me a fair bit better than the full size, but I'd like to add another 1/4" or so. Going to throw together a CAD model for a spacer and see how it... -

Shipping long gun private party to FFL.. where did I go wrong?
For what it's worth... 432.22 on the same page states that the affidavit is required for a handgun (I.E. regulated) but nowhere under 432.3 does it state that the affidavit is required for Rifles/Shotguns. -

Plumb bob never lies. In all honestly, once I started putting time and effort into mounting/leveling scopes correctly, the first few I looked through I re-mounted a couple times each because I'd shoulder the rifle and go "no way is this level". Well, it turns out I was the one who apparently... -

Everybody's buddy is a senior ballistician..... I would have grabbed a box of each factory ammo and showed the guy how smart his buddy actually was. -

Before I go messing with stuff….
Also, don't be afraid to tweak things. Before you go changing things like your rest position, take pictures of the alignment both vertically and horizontally. If things get worse, simply move it back to where your alignment marks are in the pictures. -

Shoot that 8" high one again. If it hits similarly, I'd swap that head to another arrow to see if it does the same thing. Are you "on" L/R at say...20 and this deviation to the right is when you stretch out to 50? Or are you to the right at 20 as well? -

Beginner/ Budget reloading setup
Don't be afraid to load up on used equipment in good shape. I am into my single-stage setup for WELL under $1k (not including components). If your LGS carries reloading equipment, they may resell used equipment. That and ebay. -

EDC Belt for CC
Volhund Gearworks G-hook slim. I CC 100% of the time with a 365XL appendix and I absolutely love how low profile these belts are. Even if for some reason I never CCd again I'd still wear the g-hook belts every damn day. -
