Try this out and tell us if it's a scam https://mbenzgram.com/products/bilstein-60mm-6112-series-front-suspension-kit-07-15-toyota-tundra?variant=39346660343963
I can't tell, some comments seem to say it's legit and actually does ship in 7-10 days but I'm leery based on the price and weird name...
Thanks for all the comments and awesome pictures. This forum is second to none, whether talking about hunting or not.
I do like the idea of bringing the rocker panels up a little higher with a small lift. I'm constantly afraid I'm going to hit them. I already completely destroyed the running...
Haha hey my truck gets more like 15-17 mpg now. Something to be extremely proud of. Good thing it has a massive gas tank.

@brocksw
Thanks for your detailed explanation. It helps a ton. Am I correct in thinking that the suspension lift itself won't give me any more ground clearance and the only thing to increase ground clearance is a taller tire?
Based on your post I think I'm leaning towards trying the 275/70s...
2016 Toyota tundra SR5 double cab that I just paid off. It's needing new tires and shocks and I'm torn between sticking with stock height and tire size or lifting it 2"-3" in the front and 1" in the rear to fit bigger tires and give me a little more ground clearance. Coming from a GMC Sierra...
I looked at the MSRP for 4runners every year for the last ten years and every year they have increased. Just because you bought a year old model doesn't mean the price went down, it means you bought old tech. Not dogging on you, Ive bought a couple "leftover" new dirt bikes over the years and...
I used one this year... The blades are easy to break and the handles are not big enough to comfortably grip. It's almost like an xacto knife which in my opinion just doesn't work well when your in the field. I'll stick with my outdoor edge and take the weight penalty

I've had the kuiu pro size large for a pair of 10x42's for almost a year now and have used it a lot. It is very compact, quiet, and comfortable, but there is very little room in the pockets. I have a windchecker on one side and three diaphragm calls on the other and they can be hard to get out...
I really like my lite outdoors plateau as my intro to floorless tipis. Yes it is made in china, which is a bummer but it has been sturdy and roomy for two plus gear with the stove. https://www.liteoutdoors.com/product/plateau-5/
I wish they would have had the option of the ultralight when I got...
I bought a t3x lite in November and it had the click. I replaced the pad with a limbsaver, which I planned to do anyways, and the click is gone.

Then why is it stressed to let the barrel cool between shots, is that just a misconception? Or is that just for the longevity of the barrel? Or is it common for the barrel of a factory rifle to not be properly stress relieved? And does the cartridge sitting in a heated chamber make any...
Man I get that feeling with a deer tag that takes no points and a 2 point elk tag. I get it from the amount of preparation and time I take off to be successful. If I'm not successful, I feel like coworkers and non hunting family will wonder why I spend so much time just to suck at hunting. I...
I'm sure the higher end tarp is fantastic but if you're looking for a budget option a tent footprint off Amazon has served me well. The 7' by 7' comes in at .8 lbs and costs $18

Wtf. I thought I was going to like this way better then how it was before but before I at least had a miniscule chance of getting a low quota tag if I had a fast internet connection. Now there is no chance at all. 100% preference to youth is ridiculous

So am I understanding this correctly? If there is one tag in the secondary draw and 1,000 adults and one youth apply for it, it's 100% going to the youth?

I have the lite outdoors plateau and agree with another commenter. 2+ a stove is the max I would be comfortable with. With 2 there is plenty of room for gear also, but adding another person even without gear just doesn't seem reasonable. The third person would either have to sleep in front of...
I think it's my driving style more then anything. I consciously try to avoid stop and go by coasting to red lights rather then gassing it to them. And then when I do start from a stop I don't punch it off the line like most people do. I just don't see the point in racing between red lights. I...
