One of the things I like to do during bow season is put trail cameras on wallows. It gives me something to do in the middle of the day. Theses are from the 2011 season in Oregon.

I don't know if they have it for Iphone or not, but the Backcountry navigator app for Android is great. Basically a GPS with better maps, bigger/better screen and better proccesor. I like it more than my 60CSX. You can download the maps for free and use them without cell service. It also has...
I came to the same conclusion and picked up the RX 100 a month ago. Been practicing digiscoping with the Razor from the house. The video it produces is amazing as well.
Thanks Matt,
Now my next question. I haven't found anywhere on line that sells just the eyepiece other than Zenray. I called them a couple times and just get a recording to leave a message. Any ideas?
I was hoping that Vortex would come out with a wide angle zoom this year. It appears that they did not. Does anybody know if the Zenray 25-50x wide angle eyepiece fits the Vrtex Razor?
I have a Canon DSLR and a Razor 85 and it works well but is cumbersome compaired to a point and shoot. I use a 50mm lens and just screw the Vortex adapter to the filter threads. My 50mm is an older model and all metal construction. Not sure how the newer plastic ones would hold up. I also use a...
Try putting the camera in manual focus. Use the scope to focus the scene. I have had the same problem before also. It does drive you crazy. I picked up a Sony RX100 and I'm just getting it figured out but looks like it will be awsome for digiscoping.
Keep at it. I got mine back in 1992 on Nov. 12th in crotch deep snow in the Mission Mtn Wilderness. All my other trips except one in September were low to no visability.
I used backcountry navigator on my android phone this year. I like it better than my garmin. Free topo maps and free airiel maps too. Works with no cell service. You can also get maps that show private, forest service, BLM or state lands.
