I have the original version and have used it a couple times too kill yotes during calving. Friend that I was helping went to thermal and have not used it since. Have had it for sale a couple times but it takes someone special to buy it.
You are way over thinking a 400 yard shot. Compensate the wind with Kentucky windage, you should already know your hold over for that yardage and shoot. You shouldn't need to "Twist Knobs" at that distance.
This what I have been using for several years now. Tough and when there is snow on the ground it keeps your rearend dry and warm. Strap it to the back of my pack for easy retrieval...
The best all around tire I can recommend is the Maxxis Bighorn Original. Not the 2.0, 3.0, or whatever they are making now. I have been using those tires for almost 20 years now. In all those miles on ATV's, and SxS's I have only had a couple flats caused from nails. The current set I have on my...
I try and stay with a solid color bag because the camo bags make my butt look big. But I use a camo belt to hide my big hips. Thats my story and I am sticking to it.
I have the same setup and really like it. I also have a small yard, takes about 30 minutes to do my yard. I can mow 3 times before I have to switch batteries.
College rodeo, Bulls. To tall, so decided rather than riding them I would stand in front of them. Did that for several years and was a little to slow one night and got hooked under the chin and laid out cold. Retired after that. Still attend a lot of the big ones. It is truly a professional...

88 Vs 77, Go with the 88. Or suck it up and go to the 99. I had the 88 and somebody borrowed it, so I replaced it with the 99 and all I can say is WOW.
I remember as a young man we would find sheds laying around and comment that there must be elk around. Never thought about packing it home. During elk season when it came time to pack meat out we would cut the antlers off because you can't eat horns. Fast forward 50 years and the shed hunting...
The other item you need to consider is boot flex. Starts with a 1 which is basically a tennis shoe. Topping out with a 5 which is a mountaineering boot. If you hunt in steep hilly country a higher flex rating helps. I personally like my boots to be in a 4 rating, but have used some in the 3...
Do you allow the computer to down shift for you in tow/haul? I talk the trans out of Drive and manually shift it with the shift lever. With the exhaust brake on I can shift butter smooth manually where as when I have it in Drive and touch the brakes it will down shift two gears at a time, not to...
