It would have been awesome to see him with a bow in my hand, we were looking through pictures and we found a couple taken through a spotting scope, but he was on the move and into other private land we don't have permission on.
For those of you who have been holding out. A couple of friends...
My neighbor and I went out on the quads in his pasture to check some snow melt and dugout water levels. While we were out we figured we would look for some sheds. We saw lots of deer out feeding but unfortunately the only thing we laid hands on was this guy.
He was tangeld up in the barbed wire...
I haven't gone to get him scored yet, but I'm thinking ..... 12... maybe 14"
In all honesty, the biggest muley I've shot is probably the doe I shot last year. She probably weighed twice as much.
Both were with a bow, both were awesome hunts

My wife got me a foodsaver and we're pretty happ with it. I'm not sure what the model number is, but its the one with the custom bag maker and roll sorage underneath. We've used it for parts of 3 deer kinda like your game plan is.

I have a longhorn hunter and thats what i started with, great release, simple and comes with a strap so you don't lose it when you hunt.
Then i picked up a trufire sear that was on clearance, never really though weight would affect much but, I am loving the heavier weight of it, my thought was...
I'vre run a bunch of different "affordable" sights like fuse and Iq and trophy ridge, but grabbed a spot hogg hunter used when I found one. I didn't know what I was missing and I should have bought a spot hogg in the first place. I have since bought a Hogg father, fast eddie and a hoggit and...
If it matters, I hunt whitetail and muleys
This year I had 165(ish) up front
100 grain broadhead + 50 grain fact weight + 15 grain (i think) insert
Last year I had the same insert and fact weight but a 125 grain broadhead
The only reason I changed was because the selection of 125 grain...

Missed thig guy.... twice.... in the same day
First time at 45 yards after creeping through swathed canola for 3 hours and having him and his buddies bedded for another hour
The second time at 55, just got out of his bed to go feed for the night.....
Every other time we found him was on land...
I like to play with my arrows a bit but buyinh different models is not really an option for me, fact weight, different field points and different fletching options are how i can do it

The two close to home for me, i can see the clearing my camera is at off of my deck with the spotter. Not saskatchewan monsters but they should be fun to go after with my 5 year old!
