My 300 Norma wears a brake, and a very well designed brake, and I feel little or no back pressure from it. I also don't shoot at shooting ranges and my hunting partners all shoot large caliber rifles with brakes as well. Never really bothered me, I wear double ear pro when I practice and always...
If I am archery hunting I carry a Glock 20, if I am rifle hunting I do not carry a pistol......until I shoot an animal and am on a multi trip pack out adventure. Once I hit my truck I strip my pack to essentials, throw my holster on and pack the rest carrying a pistol.
Getting in on this awesome challenge!

It was also great to meet other Rokslide members!
Can't wait for next year.

I try not to think about it, it's too painful. But with using n570 it probably only takes 50-100 to burn .003. I'm going to explore n565 after the NF match.
I definitely feel that pain. I live in southwest Idaho and am constantly covered in special amounts of dust every time I shoot. I'm sure it's even worse at the match.
Just my anecdotal data as I sit in my truck waiting for my barrel to cool while doing load development lol.
I'm working up a load in my 300 Norma Magnum. After an ocw test I did a seating depth test in .010 increments from .020-.070. I noticed that .040-050 were centered to the point of aim...
