Im swithing to a heavier arrow this year and have decided to shoot 100 grain broadhead with a 50 grain insert. Shooting an Easton axis 300 spine arrow. I shoot a 30 inch arrow with a 70 lb Hoyt. Shoot be about 471 grains. I am kind of worried about being under spined but different charts say...
I think the deer will move down simply because their feed burns off first, instead of snow pushing them down. Enough snow will do it I think but don't think one or two little storms will do much. All depends on the area and storm but I have heard of big California migrations in Late season...
Ive had my factory strings on my RX-1 ultra for two years now and they are starting to wear a little. Not terrible but thinking of putting some fresh ones on. Any recommendations for a quality aftermarket string?

I had used a bee stinger 8 inch in the front and a 6 inch side bar. At first was hesitant double stabilizers for hunting but it holds nice. But I just ordered a 15 inch counterslide and am excited to try it! might be a little more compact.
love my quilt. I have an EE 20 degree synthetic. Wish I would have gotten down but I was paranoid about moisture or getting it wet. still light and warm though!
