The dip is definitely a fan favorite. I like that recipe you have. Easy to make and cheap when you got people coming over. Keeps them out of my booze cabinet 😉
I run this recipe
-6 oz smoked salmon
-3 tbsp green onion (couple 2 or 3)
-3 clove garlic
-3 splashes "washyoursistersauce"
-8 oz...
No doubt. I really like the dip mixed with cream cheese. I pressure can a lot of salmon as well and typically if I'm doing a dip I'll grab a jar of smoked canned salmon. Makes good patties as well.
What's everyone's favorite smoked salmon recipe? I'm spending this weekend smoking up last year's coho and kings, and cycling in the new stuff. Thicker pieces still in the smoker, but pulled these smaller ones. One nice thing about living in Washington is the endless supply of salmon that...
Schedule early nock times so you can get a second course in each day.
Use Archers Advantage and input arrow/bow information and print an angle compensation chart. You can use the range finder compensation, but I'm not aware of many that allow you to input bow speed and arrow weight.
Most of...
The newer Xlites aren't that noisy now, and their are a few tricks to quiet them down as well. It's not on your list, but the xlite gets my vote and if you look around it's probably one of the most recommended Pads. I also have the uberlite and xtherm. Love all 3 of them, and each one has its...
Another 7PRC vote out of your choices. Bergara makes a good rifle but heavy for a factory gun. Run a 175 in it, and watch the magic happen. I'd avoid that savage rifle.
I'm going to go with a no on shooting a rag with that tag in particular. Similar to the post above I've spent a lot of days trying to kill a good bull, and have had it happen on the last few days many times. Feels weird letting a 5 walk, but worth it in the end. If a guy needs meat that bad I'd...
Definitely be buying points if it's financially okay for you to do so. I have points in all states that use a point system, and it's not as hard as some make it sound to manage.
I'm unfortunately a habitual phone user, and always suck a lot of juice out of all my devices. One 26k would last me about 4-5 days on a elk hunt between devices.
Definitely will be bringing a hot tent. Waiting to see if Argali spits out a 6 person, and if not I'm doing a custom job on a...
Only time I've seen it on any wild game is cutting it incorrectly or cutting before/during riggy. Not saying that's what you did, but that is my only experience with it.
Good to know. I'll be ordering a set soon to try out and test how many uses I can get out of a 10k.
DE is a good one. Lots of guys like Anker, just not myself. Check out the Nitecore series as well. Lightest I've found, and I have abused mine.
