    I only shot it about 10 times to get the scope set. Never shot over a chronograph so no idea on speed. The load was 60 grains H4198 and a smooth sized 275 Pittman Accumax.

    Leupold VX-R?

    Very nice scopes. I believe they had the same glass as the VX3 before they changed to the VX3hd. I’ve had one on my deer rifle for a number of years with no complaints.

    Upgrading Trucks Tundra, Gm, or f150

    I am at 191,000 now but can no longer claim “trouble free”. Had the head gaskets replaced and a few other things about a month ago. It’s still not running right. Super doggy but my mileage went back up to 17mpg and it was at 14 when the head gasket was leaking. Check engine light is still on.

    That’s exactly what I ended up buying but I went with the 30-06. I have no where to practice past 300 yards and have had some health issues come up that I should avoid heavy recoil so I figured the 06 is plenty. I am looking to upgrade the stock tho. What color is that Mesa stock? Alpine?
