    Heard a 26 year old from the lowstate had a massive heart attack and died in the horsepasture bear hunting. Following dogs in that country is hard work.

    Cat, we feel about the same way. What we had on camera were nocturnal. The dry weather may/may not help? Don’t know, but they weren’t moving. 7 killed on private land in Pickens County. That number didn’t change from last week. Guess the adage holds: better luck next time (year) !

    Really want to kill the gloss and wood look. Since I don’t have anyone to pass it along to, I’m not really interested in being able to take it back to original.

    I have an early 80’s .300 Weatherby. While I love a shiny wood stock, I’m giving thought to vinyl wrapping this one. Used for black bear primarily. Thought about a synthetic stock but they’re pricey. Thoughts and recommendations? Thanks!
