Ever have to carry your dog off a trail?

If we didn’t have little dog booties we would have had to carry our dog out. All four paws and pads were gone from the trail. Even though they don’t like wearing them, it seems to help. We were 13 miles into the Beartooth’s, we have not been back since.

    Help me pick a shotgun

I was spoiled with picking a Beretta AL390 from my uncle for $300, my vote is the A400. I like gas guns vs inertia guns. A couple buddies had issues with various Benelli’s. Gas guns are smoother to me but need more maintenance compared to inertia guns. 3.5” will take 3” shells. If you can test...

Earned these birds on Sunday, around 9 miles of walking that day. My BPM (birds per mile) would have been better if I could shoot straight.

What meat grinder do you use?

Just picked up a LEM #8 last week and it was a major upgrade from the cheap Cabela’s one I’ve been using for years. It wouldn’t have been able to handle the elk we ground up.

What do you do to save on spending $$

I do all the vehicle maintenance up to my skill level. Same with the house maintenance, YouTube and google have saved me a lot of expensive repair bills. Removed a bunch of trees from our yard and built a privacy fence all by ourselves this year. I do my own haircuts as mentioned by others...

2018 GMC Sierra, Steering Arm Issues Again

Are the ball joints that were put in grease-able or sealed? If they were sealed that seems premature unless they are really beat on. If grease-able just give them a few shots of grease when changing the oil.

    ELD-X & ELD-M

7mm-08 150 grain eldx factory load. Two shots on a spike elk at 500 yards. One stayed together pretty well. The other had separated in the washing machine after forgetting them both in pants. One shoulder shot, one higher shot hit spine.
