    Support group… I just can’t help myself!

Didn't know you sold them. I'll be ordering one soon! It's a good price and a lot of reviews indicate it's better than studs and other adapters.

    Bino upgrade recommendations

Mine showed up today. Just took 'em out of the box and I'm going to do some front yard glassing. Makes the neighbors uncomfortable.

    All about Idaho

Welcome to Idaho. Do you have a dog? If not, I would make that the priority. I started without a dog and that was a quick lesson. Any of the normal breeds will work - just depends on what you're looking for. Some of the access yes properties are ok, but you'll definitely need to do some...

High end, high cost optics... Why should I buy?

I've been using vanguard endeavor 10x42s for 7 years now and I don't think I've given up much. I bought those like new on Amazon for $140. I just ordered kowa genesis 44s from camera land yesterday - the $870 price pulled me in. I'm very curious how much of a difference I'll see (it should be...

    Father's Day Discount

Hi Tim, I'm looking for a setup for my phone (S21) and spotting scope (kowa 773 wide eyepiece). I'm debating between the scope-specific and the universal adapters. Is the universal mount as stable as the specific? I don't really see myself needing it for other optics, but you never know...

    Kowa 773 lens covers

Good to know - I'll contact them. Thanks for the info! Yeah, I've seen some good ones for cameras, like Defenders by polarpro, but none for spotters. A really thin, cheap, neoprene would be nice, too.

    Kowa 773 lens covers

Anyone know of, or have experience with, aftermarket lens covers? Kowa's objective cover is ok, but the eyepiece cover is a turd - it falls off constantly.

    Sony users - Tamron?

Sounds like my kind of lens - I like to bang them around! Nice setup and pic, too.

    Zoleo Sat Communicator

No, just two people (personal friends, family, etc) you would want to be informed if you hit the SOS. The local LE and emergency services will be pinged automatically when you hit the button.

    Sony users - Tamron?

Thanks! The 18-135 is great for size and range as an all around lens, but I don't get consistently great shots with it. I'll contact you guys this summer when I'm ready to pull the trigger!

    Mule Deer Biology Book?

Some Robby Denning guy gave it 5 stars on Amazon, so might be decent.

    Sony users - Tamron?

Any Sony users out there (particularly aps-c) using the Tamron 17-70 lens? I have the Sony 18-135mm for my a6400, but I'm considering the tamron for better low light and indoor use. I also have the sigma 16mm, which is awesome.

Becoming the supervisor of your coworkers / shiftwork questions

Growth mindset - do it. I've been in the same boat and don't regret it. Another thing to consider is the toll that night shifts take on your health. That alone would be enough reason for me to take the new position. Do some research, if you haven't already, on how night shifts and irregular...
