Welcome to Idaho.
Do you have a dog? If not, I would make that the priority. I started without a dog and that was a quick lesson. Any of the normal breeds will work - just depends on what you're looking for.
Some of the access yes properties are ok, but you'll definitely need to do some...
I've been using vanguard endeavor 10x42s for 7 years now and I don't think I've given up much. I bought those like new on Amazon for $140. I just ordered kowa genesis 44s from camera land yesterday - the $870 price pulled me in. I'm very curious how much of a difference I'll see (it should be...
Hi Tim, I'm looking for a setup for my phone (S21) and spotting scope (kowa 773 wide eyepiece). I'm debating between the scope-specific and the universal adapters. Is the universal mount as stable as the specific?
I don't really see myself needing it for other optics, but you never know...

I'll contact you guys this summer when I'm ready to pull the trigger!
Any Sony users out there (particularly aps-c) using the Tamron 17-70 lens?
I have the Sony 18-135mm for my a6400, but I'm considering the tamron for better low light and indoor use. I also have the sigma 16mm, which is awesome.
Growth mindset - do it. I've been in the same boat and don't regret it.
Another thing to consider is the toll that night shifts take on your health. That alone would be enough reason for me to take the new position. Do some research, if you haven't already, on how night shifts and irregular...
