    Ruger M77 mkii advice

@Stockys had a thread asking for what inlets folks wanted to see offered and I know the mkii/hawkeye was listed quite a bit. I'm crossing my fingers they have a good offering for them in the future

Ammo choice for 12ga upland hunting

I should've asked species of grouse too... If it's Sharptail I'd just go straight 5s. 6s would be fine as well

    Barrel just blew up

Pictures don't make it seem like the case, but have seen similar issues from chokes coming loose. A squib or underpowered load would leave a wad in the barrel and cause that on the next shot, however you'd likely notice the sound and less recoil. A really loose and partially backed out choke...

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

https://ravenrocksprecision.com/nosler-22-cal-64gr-bonded-solid-base-bullets-250-ct/ Berger's calculator shows them to be marginally stable in a 14 twist, but I bet those would be pretty sweet at 220 Swift speeds!

    Trijicon Credo 3-9x40mm Q&A

Form, or anyone else for that matter, do you happen to know of the Huron and Ascent lines have the same internals? Or to be phrased differently, should I expect similar results from a 3-9 Huron? (299 currently at Eurooptic has me quite curious)

    Rugger m77 MK2 replacement trigger

They're a good one to have a smith work over and replace the spring. I stoned and polished mine and have a few different springs for it. Very nice break from 1.75 to 4 pounds depending on which spring I choose
