    StaBall HD powder

Haven't tested temp stability but Staball 6.5 gave me better velocity than 7828 and rl26 in my 280AI with 175s...

60.5 has got to be pretty compressed? Or are you loading pretty long?

    Husqvarna 1640

Husqvarna 1640s, who has one and what do you like and dislike about it? Seems like they're a good mauser type action, triggers are so-so. How you'll you compare to other CRF actions? Anyone tuned the factory trigger or have experice with the huber triggers?

    9.3x62

Trying to talk myself out of or into a 9.3x62.... Anyone here loading it with some of the newer powders? Varget burn rate powder seem to be the go to, but I would guess TAC, CFE223, RL 15.5, or maybe even Staball 6.5 would squeeze out some more velocity? I know 286 is the "standard" bullet...

Pics of wood and blues steel rifles

This 16ga 310AS that I gifted to my dad was finished by Claes Johansson in 1927, and it started a bit of an obsession with Husqvarna shotguns. The next two are also finished by Claes, first one is a 12ga 310AN finished in 1930 And this one is a 310CSE That I need to send off for a little...

Pics of wood and blues steel rifles

They're awesome shotguns, and I've got a couple in different grades, gauges and configurations. Do you know the year and finisher of yours?

    Swift Scirocco II 280 AI

Excellent bullet, and the best bonded bullet in my opinion. You should have no problem getting them to 2900-3000fps and they'll perform great at 600. I've shot them in 280 for a while and only switched to another bullet because I can't find em!

    What caliber?

Range gun for 200 yds, and occasionally 500+? .223 or .308 TONS of loaded ammo and bullet options and lots of data. Great availability and price Not as "cool" as a creedmoor, but a heck of a lot easier and cheaper to get 1k+ rounds through it in a year at the range.

So, how light can a Kimber Hunter be? A build thread.

😄 glad I could provide some inspiration from the Kifaru Rambling rifles. Looks sweet!

Why stop there when you can cut even more?

Hunting bullet recommendations for .280 AI

I don't think there are very man BAD bullets for a 280ai... My new favorite load is with a 175 partition. I worked up a load last year when I drew a bison tag, and also killed a few elk with it. Ballistics aren't too bad and it hits like a friggen freight train. I was able to get them to over...

7mm08 Barnes LRX 145gr load help

That is cooking for a 7mm-08! My wife has the same rifle, but I haven't tried LRX in it yet. Looks like I might have to. How's accuracy with that load?

7mm08 Barnes LRX 145gr load help

I haven't used IMR4350 for the lrx, and of the powders you have, it wouldn't be my choice. You won't be able to get more than 46gr in the case, so I'd stop there. Of what you have, CFE should give you the most velocity, followed by Varget and 4064. What made you want to switch from Varget?

    Burris fullfield II?

They're great, and as said punch way above their price. I'd put a Fullfield II on a rifle long before just about any other sub 400$ scope

.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

This thread has been hard to keep up with... but I shared my success experience early on with the 75gr Swift Scirocco ii and only have a few left. The 77 tmk seems to be the winning bullet, but curious if anyone has experience with the 64gr bonded solid base from Nosler?
