For me, it would come down to the regs in the state you hunt, or intended game. In WY, there is a 6mm minimum for elk. So I'd go 6 ARC. If I still did as much coyote hunting as I did when I was in college, 22 ARC
a lot of people like the accutrigger, but I couldn't stand it either. Jard, Timney, Rifle Basix, and ELF are all good options for replacement and it's an easy job. I put and ELF in my savage and I like it far better than the accutrigger
Just received mine. The paperwork states an included rear action screw. I didn't have one in the box, does the factory one work?
Now I just need my barrel to show up!
My tests aren't super extensive, but when I drew a bison tag a few years ago I wanted to work up a load for 175 partitions. I did Ladder tests working up to book max with rl26, rl23, 7828, and staball 6.5 looking for thr most speed. Staball 6.5 gave me the most speed.
