I'll have a conversation with my lab
You know what you did was wrong?
Are we going to do it again?
Good girl.
Labs are easy mode!
Edit: for the third time in a row she ate the neighbor dogs' food when she was about a year old. It made me mad and she got a swift kick in the butt. More of a...
Mine are pretty organized visually, but i don't know if a lot of the information I notate matters... But I'm hoping over the years it will make sense what's important and what I can forget. That chicken scratch random note might be gold next year.
I keep a separate journal for every archery...
No I don't include barometric pressure, but now you got me thinking maybe I should. Mostly wind conditions, did it rain, is it supposed to rain? Was cold in the morning, basic things I think might be helpful. Other wildlife in the area, what shrubs and trees are fruiting. Moon phase.
I also use...
I vacuum when I'm near the shop and it's convenient. Don't let trash and lumber yard receipts build up. I had to rent a power washer last year to paint a house. The only bath my truck ever had.
I keep a little rite-in-the-rain notebook that I have titled "hunting log". I note general area and then specific locations/features of where I saw significant animal sign, animals themselves, weather conditions, etc. It's been helpful to compare year to year especially for my local spots. It...

Like others above, I use the lid when packing camp in my back. Keep water filter, headlamp, book, other items I want to have handy without digging through the pack. In daypack mode the lid stays at home. Found a bunch of elk sheds a few years ago and secured them between lid and pack.
Some of the seasons were filmed on an Indian reservation, where there producers worked out deals to allow the taking of some game. If I recall correctly, in one of the seasons they were allowed to hunt certain big game but not others.
They do that on purpose to engage you. The average viewer of the show could probably do a week, a month, so when the pansies drop out right away, the average viewer can put themselves at least in the middle, and watch the show until the end. It's like who wants to be a millionaire. They're...
My first lite corrugate pants are my favorite. I have several other pants that I like other than where the belt line is. I like to have my belt above my hips, but most pants I've tried are designed to ride just below the hip bones. I'm 6'2". Any one have suggestions on pants that ride higher...
