    6.5 Superlite Barrel Chop

Had mine cut to 18" into the flutes. Rocksett and adapter on and called it good.

    Eld-x not performing as expected

What did the lungs look like? My guess is the bullet went it, destroyed everything in the chest, and the core separated and exited while the jacket stayed inside.

    Hunting with supressor vs brake

My main rifle is a 6.5CM so not a ton of recoil to start with, but seeing impacts is much easier than before. Dirty and fouling should be a non issue with most centerfire cans from my understanding. There are ways to clean them as well.

    Hunting with supressor vs brake

I don’t want to hunt without a suppressor anymore. Sound reduction, recoil reduction, ability to hear the hit better, spooks less game, etc. Well worth it to me. I absolutely hate brakes though.

Hunting Big Game with Man’s Best Friend

Mine goes everywhere with me. Had her sit and stay a few yards back while I took the shot on my antelope this year. I do keep her on a leash when big game hunting until the action is over.

    Recommended factory loads

Had really good luck with my T3 308 and the Precision Hunter. Killed a lot of stuff with that combo.

Suppressors - first round impact shift

Well guess I’ll be the next guinea pig. I’ll compare it to my Hyperion K. Hopefully get to shoot it this upcoming week.

Suppressors - first round impact shift

Same reason I wanted to pick one up. Good to know the customer service is top notch. I remember seeing one on here with a baffle strike on and how well they handled that. I just hope it isn't a vortex situation. Great warranty, but you're gonna use it.

Suppressors - first round impact shift

Lot of issues for a relatively small sample size between accuracy problems and coming apart. Not giving me much confidence in mine and it's not even in hand yet.

Suppressors - first round impact shift

How long have you had yours? I'm kinda wondering if this is a production issue. Cranking up production since they've gotten popular and QC has dropped because of that? Also strange that haven't heard of these issues from DD until recently. I was excited for mine. Now feels a little like Russian...

Suppressors - first round impact shift

Is there any correlation with issues and age of the cans? Like older vs new production? Or round counts?

Suppressors - first round impact shift

That's super interesting. Do you think it could have something to do with carbon build up throwing something off? Strange for it to become an issue now and not from the beginning.

    My rifle scope saga continues…

Grew up in WV and hunted a lot there. If I was picking a scope to mostly hunt there and take a trip or two a year, this is what I would get: https://www.eurooptic.com/Trijicon-Credo-3-9x40-SFP-w-Green-MIL-Square-1-in-Matte-Black-Riflescope-2900042.aspx Then learn about mils and quick drop...

    Would you buy this scope?

Basically my ideal scope. Yes I would buy one.

😂 long day and I’m on rokslide. Thought the only rifle allowed was a tikka!

I thought I needed a new “big game” hunting rifle

If you want to spend some money, look at upgrading the scope and getting a can. Best things I've done for my rifle.
