I have a 34 inch draw length and shoot the Hoyt Highline. I recently sold a PSE Shootdown Pro that was a great shooting rig. It was a little short for me at 33.5. I really love the Highline and decided I didn’t want to build custom strings to squeeze a little extra draw length out of the...
I wear a size 16 as well and have also tried Schnees size 15s and couldn’t make them work either although they seemed like a great boot. I have only tried on a pair of kenetreks but for me they felt to big but can’t speak on field use of them.
I have a pair of the Tibets that are 10 years old...
Plenty of things “could” be wrong with a new bow. I would start with making sure the cam bearings are ok. Then put the bow in Mathews factory spec. Check the poundage on a scale. Set the timing, tune the bow with shorter and lighter weight arrows.
I wouldn’t put any faith in published IBOs as...
I have a long draw length 33.5-34 depending on the bow. My Arrows are 32.5 throat to outsert, that does bring the point or Broadhead onto the shelf but it’s never been a problem. Some long draw guys even use a overdraw to make arrow choice a little easier. For pin gap I would suggest going to...
Bolt action guns are loaded from the muzzle.
All New Mexico did was remove scopes, the gun is still capable of accurately shooting 500 yards with a revic. Capable being the most important word as ability and eyesight become the factor in determining if that’s actually ethical

Wow that’s never looked at the weight. That does seem heavy. I’ve owned a TC bone collector and 13 pounds compared to one of those would be a shock.
I think states getting rid of the scopes would be a good move. It would definitely save some animals and should increase quality over time. Also...
For more budget friendly options you can buy the components and have a smith put it all together. Main components can be had for somewhere around just north of 2k I think. Mesa precision, Mack brothers have muzzy actions for less than 1k. Buy a bartlein or brux barrel for $400-600, trigger and...
What states in particular? Genuinely curious..
New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona come to my mind when I think long range(300+) mainly due to scopes. The others (Idaho, MT, Co, NV) are limited in range in my opinion either by the projectile, ignition, or iron sights.
I’m aware of the no scope...
I don’t have experience with that gun. Looks nice and I’m a sucker for a carbon barrel. What are you planning to hunt?
More and more folks putting these types of muzzys together. Depends if the name on the gun means anything to you or you just want a good killing tool. Those guns can be...
Pulled a archery deer but struck out on the rest. I’ll be interested to sift through the draw data when they put it out. Congrats to all the lucky ones, and good luck on the hunts!

If you’re serious call John’s customs in Virginia. Aka Breathn on archery talk. I’m sure he can do whatever you want to a PSE.

I’ve almost done the stash in the bushes trick before but peace of mind always seems to win out. Compared to most packouts a flight of stairs is piece of cake.
