    I have a nice layout of cams on my property. The deer consistently visit my stand 1 hour after dark. They know when to stay away... which is around dusk.

    as per my screen name, I gave my .30-06 to my son years ago. I shoot 6.5CM, .243 .308 & 7-08. I never lost an animal with any of them, but If I had to choose 1, it'd be the 6.5CM, or 7-08. The 6.5 is more accurate, the 7-08 kills Elk no problem. They all work on any game.

    I'm seeing very little movement during day light. Maybe a few doe's here and there. No bucks. Night time, my camera's are going crazy. Bucks chasing everywhere. Doe's running, and a lot !! Can't wait until the phase of the moon changes.

    So you get off the float plane into the bog ? How deep in the water? Do you need waders ? I had muck boots, and waterproof snake boots which worked well for 12" of water.
