    Your first deer rifle?

    My first deer rifle was a marlin 336 in 30-30 that my parents got me for my 10th birthday in 2002 and shot my first deer with it the day after thanksgiving 3 years later. I still have that rifle today and hopefully my son with shoot his first deer with it.

    I have a bunch of tops from first lite that I have been using for the past 5-8 years that are still as good as the day I got them just the logos have all fallen off. I had one pair of Sitka boxers that only lasted a few seasons then they just fell apart so I went back to using synthetic boxers...

    I have been using my tikka t3 in 7mm-08 since 2007 and this year I just picked up a kimber mountain ascent in 280 ai.

    Your favorite sling.

    I have been using the uncle mikes mtn sling forever and really like it for shooting off hand. I got the fhf gear sling last season to give that a try. I like it but you can get 4 of those mtn slings for the same price as one of the fhf gear slings.

    I have owned a few leupolds and have had problems with all of them at some point, they are not the same company that they were back in the day. I have three accupoints and have not had any problems with them.

    These are the numbers I getting with my 280ai , I only have 20 rounds through the gun so far and it has been with the federal premium 155 gr terminal asent
