I’m new to this forum I’m from KS I’m an avid upland game ,waterfowl hunter and predators I also hunt whitetail and antelope this year I’m going on my first elk hunt I love to bow hunt so going archery so will see how that goes
I had never heard of this until I saw an episode of life below zero where a guy did it he claimed he just kept boiling all the tendons and stuff down but that’s tv too I’d be interested if the process my self
You can save money reloading but it is kind of expensive to get into it Plus time consuming I started on a single stage press which is pretty slow but eventually upgraded to a Dillion progressive with is fast but it was expensive
I’ve set traps and snares and had good luck got quite few but I doubt it was enough to put that big of a dent in the predator population if your state allows I’d hunt them at night over bait with a thermal scope and set traps you could probably pick up trimmings or something from a local butcher...
I would also recommend loading your test rounds all with the same brand of brass Also I prefer nosler brass my self and I have tried mixed head stamped brass and results did very some this was more for plinking rounds though
