    Could use trekking pole with your tall bipod as well. Grip pole with offhand at needed height. Not going to get you way out there but fast and good enough out to 4-500 I'd say.

    I slept in a buddies a couple years ago. Was better than bed of pickup but the zippers rattled all night in the wind. Kept waking me up. Probably get used to it or put tape on them if using long term.

    I'll pack in a kifaru tut and lite outdoors stove when not planning to move camp. It is way nice. I almost always have a plan to help with the packout as well.
