    Best spotter around 2k

Time for me to buy a spotter. I really don't want to drop 3-4k on one. When Maven first came out I demoed one of their spotters. It seemed pretty good. Doesn't Swaro sell a spotter with the eye piece for about two grand? Any suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Eotech vudu 5-25

Looking to swap my Mark 5 out to a mil scope. My only complaint about the mark 5 is the size. It's on a prairie rifle so it's not a big deal and it's still light. Just wondering how the Eotech stacks up against the mark 5 and nx8. It weighs as much as the mark 5 but it's half size.

    Stripped swivel stud holes

The first day with my AG stock a few years ago I stripped the swivel stud out of one of the front hole. YouTube had a few wood stock videos but not much on carbon stocks. Can I just fill the hole with JB weld and then screw in new screw for my arca rail? Thanks

    Custom manners inletting

Awesome thanks!! Ha I'd probably be better off just buying an Aero action by the time it's all said and done [emoji23] There's just not much for quality youth guns that will grow with the kid that are capable of long range fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Custom manners inletting

I'm wanting to get a Manners compact stock. But it will be for a model 70 action. I thought manners had info on their site for getting a custom inlet done. Any feedback on the compact? I really love the idea of being able to adjust the length of pull on the fly. In need to build a gun for my...

143 ELD-X blew up on the shoulder?

Regardless, I'm moving away from the eldx to Berger. Ive stacked up a lot of sample data with the eldx with the PRC and creed. Results have never been really super impressive.

    6.5 PRC Berger performance

Started handloading for my rifle this year. I've been shooting black box Hornady. Shoots good and it does kill. The deer seem to take death run first though. Had one buck death run then stand dead in his feet for a few minutes with his butt to me before dying. Decided to try Bergers. Got them...

    Images: Hunting with KRG Bravo

Problem I have with my kids is I buy them a light rifle then they can't carry it because their pack is full of "cool rocks". Some the size of an Idaho potato[emoji2359][emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Budget FFP scopes

What are some good lower price point scopes? I've got a mark 5 and freaking love it! But I need some other scopes but don't want to spend 2k. Closer to 1200 maybe. I keep browsing for demo glass. Just want something that'll track good with decent glass and first focal is a must.

    Montana trespass fee options

Anyone know of any options for trespass fee ranches in Montana for general resident hunters? Just sick of the hunting pressure and wolves. Found a lot of elk hunting all but a couple weather days this season. But they just don't want to play the game. Or glass up a nice bull, make the mile and...

    Trad bows for young hunters

Daughter turns 12 next year so she'll be old enough to hunt. No draw weight restrictions in MY, so I'm thinking a 35# at her draw weight would be about right for close range deer. She's been shooting a stick since she was in diapers. She's got a 25# Black hunter and has no problem drawing...

The different cuts of an elk?

Same as a deer. Make sure you save the neck meat. Sort of obvious but I think some people leave it. It's like 15-20 lb of meat. Also grab the heart. If you do the gutless method just bust a couple of ribs out and get them.

    2024 Bugle Report

The heat won't shut the elk up one bit. They're already screaming even when it's pushing 90. These kind of posts are sorta dumb. Like a couple years ago I was packing my bull out, a load of just meat in my main bag. I ran across another guy on the main trail. Asked if he heard anything and...

    90 degree hunts.... ugh

I know everyone hates hunting in the heat. But I've had great luck in the heat. More so than any other weather. As long as it's consistently warm the bulls in my area can be super active. But as soon as a cold front hits they go quiet until the weather stabilizes back out. Just be smart. I...
