    How many of you guys leave your hunting backpack packed with all your gear? Or unpack it and store it?

    I unpack, clean and repair stuff, reevaluate what I have etc in prep for next season. I also use my bag for backpacking and training so definitely have to unload it.

    Kill kit weights and ideas. Lets see yours? Ideas?

    I basically carry the same equipment that most all of you have listed. I don't keep it in a separate bag. It's stashed in different pockets throughout my pack. I'd guess it's all less than 2lbs or so.

    Copper/Lead on public land.

    Because it's not what THEY enjoy or want or think. Remember those kids in HS that had to be on student council/student government? They wanted all the dances to be what they wanted, the lunch room and menu to be how they wanted it etc etc. And if you opposed them, you would suffer the wrath...

    Oldest Ammo You've Shot?

    The oldest I've shot was some surplus Israeli 7.62 x 51 ball from the 1950s that was 30ish years old at the time. I still have 1 box left. I bought it to shoot out of a new Rem 788 with a Tasco scope package that I bought at a Smittys in Phoenix AZ. 5 boxes of ammo for $20 at a little gun...

    Lead in Meat Discussion

    Interesting discussion and something to ponder. I started using mono bullets due to regs in CA. What I found was that they both shot well and performed well in the rifles I use. Since, I've continued to use them for hunting. For target I still use lead core. I DO NOT support any bans on lead...
