Looking for a full bedding block Houge stock, preferably Ghillie Green, for a Savage short action centerfeed with top bolt release and heavy barrel channel. It’s for a build I’m doing, so I’m open to either blind mag or DBM. Thank you!
I have the following. Prices don’t include shipping. If you buy several things, I’ll cover shipping.
-20” heavy .338 Win Mag barrel, small shank, threaded, iron sights, about 40 rounds down the tube. $140
-Long action centerfeed stock, blind mag, OD Green-SOLD
-7mm/.338 magazine box, follower...
Looking for a prefit 20” heavy sporter 6x45 (6-223) barrel for a savage. Open to blued or stainless. Would prefer a more aggressive 1:9 or even 1:8.5 twist.
I’ve got some spare Savage parts laying round, so I minds well build a rifle. Here’s what I’m looking for:
-Savage short action, top bolt release, centerfeed 4.4” spacing without bolt assembly, with or without accutrigger.
-stripped .223 bolt face
-.223 mag box and follower
-grooved barrel nut...
need a new pair of hunting pants. The market is flooded with options, some built for performance, not budget, and some that are budget friendly and SAY they perform... I need some help sifting...
Here’s what I need:
-lightweight and flexible as I still hunt a lot and it requires stepping over...
All these “new” and rediscovered Wildcats in the last two years motivates me to build a 7 mag 🤷♂️. I don’t need the best mix of recoil and ballistics. I’m just gonna go straight overkill with a muzzle break.
I built a .243 on a savage action and loved it. But I wound up tearing it apart to finance some electronics for my bass boat. I’m currently building a 7mm Rem Mag, but I bought a staggerfeed instead of a centerfeed, so that upset me. Haha. I also want to build a 6x45 off of a savage .223 action...
y father and I are applying this year. I heard somewhere that 15% of the tags are first year applicants? Not sure if that’s true, but I’ll keep applying until I get the tag. Maybe drag my cousins with me for the experience/pack out.
