Just went through this myself. I bought the 9x45’s and can say I don’t feel under glasses in the least. FOV is solid and glass is a huge step up over my old Japanese made Razor HD’s. I ran 12x50’s and for once I don’t think I’m going to miss the extra mag.
I will also mention that I was a bit...
You’ll get the most performance out of the 6.5-280AI, it’s got a slightly longer body than the 6.5-06AI(more case capacity). As others said, run a bushing die and swap out the bushing and you’re good to go!

Eric is correct. Starting with a long action magnum like the rem mag or win will give you the appropriate bolt stop. Though milling a WSM bolt stop to fit isn’t a big deal. Though FYI I’ve seen some of the short action bolt stops made from solid metal (ideal) but the majority of them have...
I’ve still got a couple builds going on the McMillan game wardens (which I almost never use anymore) and they definitely need a higher comb. Snagged one of these off amazon and combined it with a neoprene stock cover and it’s a huge improvement for only 3 oz weight penalty. Handy for when a...
Gorgeous Rifle! I’ve got one in the shop now for a carbon rebarrel.... the action is soooooo smooth. Impressive for sure! Good luck with the sale.

Wife won this at a banquet a few years back. Has maybe a dozen rounds through it. 99% condition. She doesn’t like pink and we already have a few remingtons we hunt with.
New is $379.
Looking to get $300 shipped/conus to your FFL OBO.

Negative. The mag profile is being tweaked to fit even tight inlets. Better off that way especially as these mags are going to be sold to anyone/everyone and when you're using a plastic bottom metal, it's inevitable that you'll have an inlet be tight and we can't expect every customer to be...
It fits, but you have to seat it back a bit then slide it forward. Factory mag works as well but it’s tight. The factory plastic bottom metal squeezes in about .012” in the front mag well area in this inlet.
The previous issue with the McMillan inlet wasn’t width it was an un-parallel inlet...
Well leave it up to Mesa and AG to throw another curve into the mix lol
I’ve got two stocks here for customers from their tikka stock group buy. Decent stock design but the inlet has a pinch point on the factory bottom metal up front. New mag dimensions work in factory and McMillan inlets, need...
As far as I know they use all publicly available data... I was going to take the leap myself but saw the price tag and said nope I'll do the research myself. I'd do it for $50/year but $150 not a chance. But that's how a free market works so I won't bitch about it.

Been using the 2400abs for a few seasons and it’s a legit unit. Ranges quick and far and the solutions provided have been spot on for multiple rifles. I keep it in a pouch on my bino harness so it keeps the temp accurate “enough” for hunting shots. If I’m going over ELR distances I give it a few...
H1000 and Retumbo were both hard to find at one point or another in the last 7 months. Seeing more H1000 available recently so I doubt Retumbo is far behind.

Honestly no I don’t. The VLD Berger’s are designed to have their nose collapse and fragment instead of peel back and expand like traditional bullets. That’s why you never see them mushroom but you find the bases and jackets fairly mangled if recovered.
I don’t believe the OTM’s are designed to...
You couldn’t pay me to use either the 230 OTM/30 Cal or 300OTM/338 cal on elk. It’ll work okay up close cause you have a good velocity but they have expansion issues at lower velocities. The 230 Hybrid Targets are a much better game bullet even though they’re still a “target” bullet. Same with...
They’re coming together. We’ve got to change the front corner radius a bit. Factory bottom metals actually squeeze in .005-.010” when torqued into a variety of stocks. First mag body design slips easily into a bottom metal mag well when it’s sitting on a bench. Torque it into a stock and it...
Hey guys,
Sorry to say but another customer picked up this optic last week and I forgot to update the thread! With that said if anyone is still interested in a V6 optic send me a PM.
