Companies/Manufacturers realize that long range hunting/shooting is the hot ticket right now and they are using that in their advertising. But that’s all it is, advertising.... advertising only works on the ignorant and this industry is no different. You see it in optics, packs, clothing, food...
Rcbs gold medal dies are great, recently started using them for 300wby and 300Rum. Redding bushing dies are also a mainstay. I won’t use the Hornady or Lee dies. I’ve gotten inconsistent neck sizing from both in the past.

Hard to predict because you’re dealing with harmonics and barrel whip and everything from charge weight to caliber to bullet weight and barrel length will affect it. Sometimes a contact point at the right spot can settle a barrel. But because it’s so hard to predict it’s best to have the ENTIRE...
Depending on how they were designed, they may require a specific inlet for whatever stock you use with them. Proper magazine feed lip height and case head presentation is a big reason why I pillar bed stocks and trim pillars to the perfect height. FWIW I haven’t used the bottom metal in question...
Even the most poorly designed brake will not have a negative effect on accuracy. Only two reasons why it would, a baffle strike (think of accuracy in feet, not inches), or a brake that is torqued too tight inducing stress into the barrel. This is also a no-no and should be avoided.

I’ve got a new small tennon ultralight contour that hasn’t been released yet that’ll work perfect for you. 1.120” tennon OD and .840 muzzle OD at 23” [emoji6]

No worries man I'm still offering 10% off all Roksliders on the barrel costs!
I'm going to rebarrel the wife's 280AI with the 25-284. Simple barrel swap and see how she runs at 23". Should be a killer deer rifle!
Also, the only reason I suggest the PRC/SAUM and not the WSM is the OP's...
I've got an Ultralight carbon barrel contour finishing up this week. 22" 6.5mm should finish right at 2.25 lbs on a tikka and I'd look good n hard at the 6.5PRC or SAUM. Conundrum with any of the WSM/SAUM/PRC cases in a tikka is you need to upgrade to an AICS bottom metal or run the Mountain...
Just got back from the range with a fresh 6.5PRC build on one of my 7.5” twist carbon barrels. Not bad for factory 147’s and a sub 9 lb scoped rifle [emoji6]

Your stock is begging for either the C105 Titanium or I think this color would greatly match your pattern as well, though I haven't used the 7900Q YET! Regarding the 105, it's not so much grey like on the website, it's got a touch of what I'd call a champagne tinge to it... Just barely but...
I tell all my customers who ship rifles to me to use UPS but an actual UPS depot. UPS stores are 80%+ non helpful and no matter what kind of part they do not ship gun related parts! And yes they suck because of it :)

Ran a straight for 3 seasons, then an angled for 2 seasons. I'm back to a straight. The majority of my glassing is across canyon or from an elevated position. If I were glassing from valley floors alot I would maybe go with the angled spotter. But not for our style of hunting.

Most people don’t even know what tool marks are.... if brakes are showing poor tooling marks there’s really no excuse for it, especially with how they’ve made.
With that said it’s a moot factor when their getting OD turned and blended (and cerakoted as well most the time). Any tooling marks on...
I use MBM brakes on 90% of my builds. Have used a lot of different brakes and they all work. I’ve found nathan’s brake to work as good as anything else out there and not be overly priced. I also like to support a fellow ID company. Good luck!

Atlas, Harris with aftermarket feet, or the Javelin does a good job as well. The EOL Carbon bipod I didn't care for, well made and easy to adjust but it was almost too rigid and allowed zero preloading.

Stock design plays a hugely underestimated role in this as well. I can spot hits all day at 300 yards with a 10.5 lb .338 Norma Improved. Some stocks make it damn near impossible though.
