Yeah, nothing wrong with that STW. I had 2 of them when Layne first put the article out about them in Shooting Times. I always necked down and fire formed Winchester brand 300 H&H mag brass, so I could get that extra 100fps out of it. I will keep an eye out for some in my travels.
While I have both wood/blue and fiber/SS rifles I find myself always gravitating to the wood/blue. It's just kind of more comforting to tradition type of thing and nicer to handle with bare hands when its colder and you just don't want to wear gloves. I wipe mine down with a silicon...
Well, once you have had it there is little reason to get the vaccine afterwards since only like 5% will get it the second time and when you do its much less extreme since the body is already mostly immune from the virus. I know this from experience and what I read from Mayo about it. Almost...
Swaro EL and never look back...period. I also like the Leica Ultravid HD which is optically equivalent, but for different reasons, one of which it does not use field flattener lenses and has a more 3D view and the color spectrum is much more vivid. Thats why the birders like them so much. I...
Nice to see another fellow Pa member here. Whereabouts in Pa? Pa is a great state for hunting opportunities.....millions of acres of public land to hunt, fish, boat and hike. Some of the best trout streams anywhere in the country. Love to see kids getting involved. Welcome.
mt100...yes, it is unfortunate as we get older it takes a toll none of us can stop....but at least we accomplished something that will still provide a benefit as we get even older. taking strength and fitness into old age is quite important to staying around longer. there is no downside.
Hey thinhorn_AK......what's your problem? Yeah, I'm pretty proud of what I accomplished in those 8 years of powerlifting 5 days a week. I started as an average 50 yr old and I worked really hard to get to the level I was at 58. Why are you attacking me on a personal level? Did I disrespect...
nice glass at a very good price point. can never go wrong with Leica. i have several pr of the Ultravid HD and they are awesome, every bit as good as my EL's.
Clarktar, the list of them is being made today and will be sent to the Gunbroker FFL dealer (Keystone Arms) tomorrow, which is in my state, and I'm going to assume they will be picking them up this week sometime. I'm keeping some of what I have but it's going to be a really tough and sad event.
Best thing to do is call Gary Reeder as he does a lot of #1 builds. He will give you an idea of what is the best route. I can only see one item of concern and that is a 45 caliber barrel will likely be thicker making the long slender forearm much wider changing the feel and look of the rifle...
No pics' but....

bowhuntercoop...I got that same truck, a 2003 with 111,000 on it, 305hp HO and always garaged. Pretty much stock with the factory tube step boards except for a Road Armor front bumper and 35"x315 tires on the factory rims. Has a Diamondback bed cover. These are awesome trucks and I get...
I have looked at realtor.com and use the criteria boxes to find your location and type of interest. I know of a guy that approached an older woman owning a large farm whose husband had passed away and she wasn't cash rich so he offered to take care of her every need for life, allowing her to...
