Has anyone much experience mule deer hunting in the Bob Marshall?
I’m looking at doing some backcountry scouting/ hunting a few spots in there for mule deer. I am well aware deer populations are low. But I know of a few guys who have done very well in that country chasing mature mule deer...
Didn’t end up liking the Christensen I bought. Realized I was shooting my tikka 7 mag just as good or better. So I decided to stick with what I knew. Decided if it’s not broke, why fix it.
I have only had good experiences with them. I think I’ve shot 3 or 4 elk, an antelope, and a few mule deer with them out to 450 yards. From what I have read, most people who have “bad experiences” with them don’t understand the bullets intended design. If your philosophy is to blow through...

Another vote for butcher block. Affordable, looks classy, and can diy. I used a tung oil finish. We have had them for about a year and are still very happy with them.
Ive only experience with the kodiak. Love it. Super fast and easy setup. Durable. Ive stayed in it many nights in negative temps with a little buddy heater and stayed comfy.
Most previous threads are generic handgun round threads.
Looking specifically for info on 9mm G9 woodsman ammo. Anyone do much testing with this stuff? How does it compare to underwood or buffalo bore?
The sales pitch seems pretty good. But looking for others who have tested.
