The arrowhead priming system is fantastic system- we use it for our smokeless/BH209 builds, along with quite a few other builders.
There are quite a few companies building off their breech plug and modules, with that system and other quality components, you can build an extremely nice gun. We...

There’s a few nail-on shoes available in the states with the same principle, I’ve had a ton of success with the Duplo composite shoe. They make a version that has traction grooves already cut in, and have the option of adding studs.
We use them on some very sore footed horses, and it’s life...
The diameter on the S1 is too big for the BTX eye piece
You can twist one cup in and one cup out like you said, it helps, but doesn’t cure the problem.
I mounted it to the left eyepiece, so it left the diopter adjustment free.
The other issue I forgot to mention, with the adapter attached, the rubber eyepiece cover no longer fits.
Maybe there’s a better way to attach it? I’m going to keep experimenting, I’ve switched to carrying the BTX...
I bought the MagView specifically for using it on the BTX, as I haven’t really found a fast, easy solution for it.
It fits and works OK, but seems a little “touchier” than on a spotter, as it floats off the opposite eyepiece a little further.
I haven’t spent a ton of time with it yet, but so...
Aside from our semi-custom line of rifles, we build full customs as well. Not to attempt to scare any one off, but of your thinking of building a custom rifle to hunt with in 2023, I would suggest starting the build ASAP. There’s a significant backlog of components in the industry, with a very...

I have been buying/selling SEEL for over a year now, the ups and downs have been quite the rollercoaster. It’s price has been slowly down treading for months, but it’s latest trials have been superb and the the CEO just bought 1.3 million shares a few days ago. Anyone have any thoughts on the...
As a custom and semi-custom builder, my advice would be to really ask your chosen smith hard questions about timelines if your hoping to be able to use the gun in 2022. There’s certain components that are just flat unavailable and the manufacturers won’t give us timelines, and even when they do...
Pull shoes, hammer nails, clinch nails. It’s much slower than having the real tools, but saves a lot of space and you can use it for non-horse stuff as well. Having pliers and a hammer is pretty convenient.
I’ve been messing around with equicast on horses with really bad feet the past year, it works pretty amazing for the lame ones.
It will wear out fast in the mountains and may not stay on great without glue, but one roll may make a good substitute for ez boots when you loose a shoe in the...
We’re looking to buy a couple hundred ELD-Xs, but we will take any quantity at this point!
We’re open to buying or trading, we have a full line up of guns, reloading supplies, optics and more.

There’s another great topical ointment for high motion areas called chlorhexidine. It’s a little harder to find than furazone, but it’s over the counter unlike silvadene. Any of them will work at preventing infection and granulated tissue, which is the key in an area like a pastern.
I have a Hilleberg Nallo 4 GT in sand that is in very good condition, tent is great but an expanding family is making me buy a bigger tent!
