    And none of the the .243 in stock is quality brass. In a quick search I found Peterson, lapua, and alpha all in stock in 6 creed. As nostalgic as the .243 is for me 6 creed was an easy choice.

    I would definitely want to hunt the first 7 days from what I’ve seen. The biggest 5 bucks I’ve seen actively chasing does in northern Utah and southern Idaho were November 13-15th (saw him 3 days in a row), November 17th, and November 20th X3.

    I’ve had to call some audibles throughout the years as well. Winter kills and other things have throw. Some wrenches in as well.

    Wyoming works in that manner though. Definitely recommend applying in more states if you want tags every year. Writing out a 5 year or 10 year application plan with back ups for point creep has helped me a lot and keeps away the last minute decisions

    Deer in Utah in August, September elk OTC in Utah along with a week of guiding elk. Then helping a buddy fill his antelope tag Idaho at the end of the month.
