Tikka in either caliber for what you’re doing. I’d personally go 6.5 because of less recoil and I’d be practicing long range as well and the 6.5 definitely excels there.
We used a Grendel for youth hunters before the arc came out. It worked well but I’d definitely go with the arc when I need an extremely low recoil gun again. We like to practice long range with the kids and the ARC definitely helps in the wind compared to the Grendel.
