    +1 for the sport dog system. I made a loop around approx 10 acres for my GSP & it was fantastic for containment. Be sure to upgrade to a min 14 ga wire (order a roll from an electrical supply place) for more durability & longevity)

    Since you're gonna be around the Broadway strip area I'd recommend Martin's BBQ (4th Ave downtown location). Excellent food & live music too One touristy thing that's worth doing is the country music hall of fame. Lots of cool stuff in there (mostly before the plastic cowboy era)

    I guess I'm just too plain but I do small pieces (2" max width) just straight hickory or mesquite ... 180 for 2 hours. No brine or anything like that. Too much extra stuff can overpower the taste of the fish IMO. Maybe have a little cream cheese on the side
