So, I have no advice, but was listening to the latest Gritty podcast and probably not the issue in your case, but they spent a lot of time talking about diet and how what we eat causes so much inflammation. I don't have time to summarize but there was some very interesting info in it. I think...
I am as much of a Seekins fanboy as anyone, but damn that thing is ugly! Not saying I wouldn't have one, but I'd have to hide it so people didn't see it...lol. I am 90% a function over form guy, but that thing looks like some unholy union of both types of stock and has me rethinking that...
I have a couple of indoor bikes. Only thing to consider with the Peloton is it is tied to their programs/subscriptions. We have the Nordictrac version which is fine but no way to run 3rd party apps. You can still pedal and use without the sub but not as fun. I have used pelotons in the past...
Semper Fi! Yeah I still always carry a map and compass for our units. Never had a problem with nav. Marines helped but growing up in the "mountains" helped a bunch too.
I used to work for a company that made T-posts many years ago. FWIW, best sellers were 6', with 5.5 and 6.5 after that. 8' posts were made rarely, although we still made them.
There are a ton of good ones out there. I have an older marsupial setup, but most are pretty darn close. Mine is magnetic and it can mess with a compass somewhat. but it is a pretty good setup.
Ive always run somewhat longer stabs with no issue. I did take my back bar off on my last hunt (after practicing without it) and it was fine. Your current setup is close to what I am running now and I would have no qualms with running that setup.
Same but I have the 12" on the side. 3oz out front and 7 in back. Measured yesterday and with quick release and weights it's actually close to 17" in front and over 13 out back. TAP makes good stabs and they are a little less expensive than some of the more promoted ones. Very clean without...
For stand hunting, a muff, light gloves for glassing and some type of handwarmer like @Archery22
For anything else, I have various weights and iterations of the KUIU stuff.
Beat me to it. For that money a PH2 or Element should be at least considered on that list. Great rifles and if you do have an issue they will take care of you. I looked at all of Kimbers, Noslers, FIerce stuff a few years ago and they don't hold a candle fit and finish wise IMO
I have an Epsilon on my new bow and have been shooting a QAD for many years. No issues with the QAD, just wanted to try something different. It's a good rest, no issues at all with it. I do like the QAD being able to flip up. The Epsilon shoots well, performs every time, very adjustable. I'll...
I'll parrot the PH2(Seekins Havak) For $1900 it's a pretty decent gun. I have one that is a few years older with a Timney and I've never once had an issue with the trigger or felt the need to adjust. It's been a dang good rifle and by far the most accurate I have had at this point, although my...
i have a KUIU glassing pad that is approx 100 square inches It has eyelets on each corner that allow it to be attached to your pack. Pretty nice pc of gear.
Used to hunt a farm in Eastern SD. Bowhunt in the morning, duck hunt till we got our limits then pheasant after lunch then back in the stand after we limited out. Even had time to run into town for lunch. Great times.
