I've got a couple. They are nice belts and very thin at the buckle. Not extraordinarily expensive either. I also run Prana's a lot of the time and they have a built in "belt"/Tightener that works well.
Just pp this year, so not as much excitement. Really looking for the drawn out at info. We had a decent deer hunt last year. Animal quality wasn't super high, but we got one and had a lot of fun. In all the years I have hunted Colorado, this was my first animal on the ground. Good luck all!
Yep. Not bad at all. Obviously takes a few minutes longer. Really like the tent so far. Ive had a roof top tent for years, but this so much easier...at least getting in and out...lol.
I just picked up the Kodiak tent. Got the 10 x 10. Super roomy, well built, floor is very thick. Ive only got 3 nights in it but it seems to be a really nice tent.
Arent those ice fishing tents basically the same design as a ground blind? If so, I know a guy that sleeps in his ground...
Down 15 but have kind of plateaued. Still doing a lot of biking but that's most of it at this point. Unfortunately don't have any tag I am training for.....yet, but just trying to stay after it. Had a scary health issue a few weeks ago. Got really dizzy and nauseous. After a trip to the ER...
Have a spot in CO that is exactly the same way. Just one little public corner that juts out into the right of way. Hell yeah I hunted it and got into elk half a mile in. Walked out the top and another bunch of hunters picked me up and took me to my Jeep. I wasn't the first to park there and...
Older vortex Razor LH 3 x 15. Discontinued but replaced by the LHT. Old one was a 1" tube. New one is 30mm I think. Vortex doesn't get much love here, but it has held up well on 2 rifles and 5 years.
The grip threw me for a minute but I like it now.
It is easily a 1000 yard rifle. I...
BPWD Luna 6. Nice, light, it is a palace for 1 and depending on the options, weights next to nothing. Ours has netting and a skirt and stove jack, so on the heavier side but still pretty light. Carbon fiber pole too.
Cow decoys......nuff said..... Congrats on the tag. I grew up in Western SD and have shot quite a few with a rifle (many years ago...Many!!!) My dad's buddy was bowhunting them in the 70's and came up with many of the techniques we use today (although he never took credit for them, while...
Google maps to this point on a tablet, or just a plain old map, or OnX on my phone. My new Subaru has a Monster display and OnX looks really good on it. Looking forward to using it.
They work great. I practiced with them (you need to) not as stable as a regular bipod but another tool in the arsenal. I carry a spartan precision bipod too. Don't even notice them on the sticks.
My PH2 is a shooter in 300WM. half MOA groups, under 9 lbs total and Ive rung a 6" gong at 680 yards (Max at our range) Recoil isn't bad for a quasi light long action. No brake either. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, and almost did!!!
Not a huge knife guy, but used to have a case sheath knife that I loved. Easy to sharpen, kept an edge, looked good. Lost it on a deer hunt about 20 years ago. I actually now have a mini version of it that I got when my Grandpa passed away but it stays in storage. Have been using a havalon...
